Pull your Pork

That is a pork shoulder, dry rubbed and sitting on a bed of colorful peppers and some onions. With a clove two cloves of garlic. The next step is to pour some BBQ sauce over or in the pot, turn it on and do nothing for 6 hours. When it's done you shred it up and eat the shit out of it.

Official recipe for delicious pulled pork using a slo-cooker.

Dry Rub is granulated brown sugar, paprika, pepper, salt, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, oregano and onion powder. Rub liberally.

Bottom of slow cooker add three cloves of garlic, 3 peppers and one onion. Best to use a red and green but I added an orange because they were on sale.

Place shoulder on bed of peppers and fill cooker with a half a bottle of your favorite BBQ sauce.

Cook on high for 6 hours, depending on your slow-cooker this is about 275 degrees. I would rotate it once but for most of the time you want the fat cap on the bottom. I do trim some of it off to avoid a real greasy sauce.

Remove, pull apart and serve with toasted mini rolls or plain.
